ADEK changes PCR test requirement for all schools

The Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) has changed the PCR test requirements for all schools. The changes that will be implemented from 28th September 2021 clearly state that:

  • All students aged 11 or under are required to present a 30-day valid PCR test in order to enter the school
  • Unvaccinated Students (or students who have not yet had both doses under 28 days) aged 12 or above are required to present a 7-day valid PCR test in order to enter the school. This condition is also applicable to students with approved vaccine exemptions
  • Vaccinated students, who have completed both the doses of the vaccine more than 28 days ago, aged 12 or above are required to present a 30-day valid PCR test in order to enter the school. This condition is also applicable to students of determination
  • The premises of the testing for all the students is yet unclear. More information by ADEK will follow soon.
