WHITE Dubai, the city's premier open-rooftop nightclub, has announced that it will be hosting its first-ever outdoor event headlining Grammy Award-winning DJ, Black Coffee, on May 26 at Dubai Harbour. With a reputation for hosting some of the most spectacular events in the Middle East, WHITE Dubai is renowned for its top-notch entertainment spectacles, live performances, and impressive programming.
Opened in 2013, WHITE Dubai has quickly become one of the most iconic venues in Dubai, with its unique open-air rooftop space and state-of-the-art L-Acoustics sound system. The club and its affiliate beach club have hosted some of the biggest names in dance music, including Armin Van Buuren, Jean Claude Ades, Claptone, Dannic, Dimitri Vegas, Diplo, Laidback Luke, Otto Knows, Sander Van Doorn, The Chainsmokers, Steve Aoki and W&W.
Doors for the highly anticipated Black Coffee performance open at 6 pm, with a lineup of talented warm-up DJs, including Paul Svenson, Fredrick Stone, and Alex Twin.
A pioneer of the kwaito genre, Black Coffee's signature jazz-soaked sound blends traditional African beats with an ethereal sort of house music and one that has been a regular feature on the global circuit of triple-A festivals, clubs and beach parties. He has released several successful albums and singles and has collaborated with several international artists. He has also won numerous awards, including the Best International DJ award at the 2015 BET Awards and featured on the Top 100 DJs several years in a row.
