Fun and fitness race to the fore this month when Dubai gears up for the nation’s first-ever BUBBLE RUN™ at Bluewaters on Sunday, 26 February. A signature race by US-based experiential fun run organisers, Cool Events, BUBBLE RUN™, will see people of all ages sprint a 3km course across the iconic urban island destination.
The BUBBLE RUN™ will make the most of Bluewaters’ stretching avenues, snaking runners past spectacular sea and skyline views. Giant foam canons placed along the track will blow a stream of bubbles onto the runners as they pass, an exciting multi-sensory twist on Dubai’s sporting calendar.
It’s a low-stakes, high-fun running experience, so you can walk, jog or challenge your friends and family to a race through raining bubbles and foam.
After you cross the finish line, head to The Plaza at Bluewaters, where all kinds of live music, family-friendly entertainment, and – of course – bubbles will liven up the atmosphere. Cultural performances and a DJ will keep crowds hopping on their feet.
Gates open at 7 am, and the run kicks off at 8 am at The Plaza. Tickets start from AED60. You can register online using the following link until 11.59 pm on Friday, 24 February 2023.
