Catch World Cup Screening at Time Out Market Dubai

by Out and About Mag.

Time Out Market Dubai announces its match-winning strategy for the upcoming World Cup, making the food and cultural market in Souk Al Bahar the top venue for both footies and foodies to catch all of the action from this year’s most anticipated sporting event.

World Cup Screening

With many locations charging minimum spend or requiring tickets to watch the games, at Time Out Market Dubai, there is no entry fee and no need to book — entry is simply on a first-come, first-served basis; guests just have to arrive early doors to score a seat.

Showing all of the games, Time Out Market Dubai’s stage will turn into a sporting fan zone with full live commentary on its screens. For the more casual viewer, the sound will be muted on the new, massive four-by-two metre screen in the Atrium, enabling people to catch up with friends and family whilst keeping an eye on the score. And those not interested in the matches will continue to find areas across the Market that are football free.

To accompany the games, there will be — alongside the usual drinks offerings — a special drinks menu including football-themed cocktails from 45 AED, a pint of beer from 30 AED and a bucket of five beers from 140 AED.

The Market also offers the chance to tackle cuisines from many of the countries playing in the tournament — all prepared by Dubai’s best chefs and culinary champions: for example, Balkan cuisine from 21Grams to accompany the Serbian and Croatian games, Portuguese food at Lana Lusa, Latin American flavours from Slab Cocina which are a perfect match for the Brazil or Mexico games, Japanese dishes at Reif and burgers from Pikl for the USA.

Time Out Market Dubai boasts 17 homegrown concepts in total, so guests can indulge in everything from Asian fusion bites to mouth-watering pizzas and more. Guests can kick back with a drink or two from any of the Market’s three bars – The Atrium Bar, The Fountain Bar or The Palace Bar.

Time Out Market Dubai — which spans 43,000 sq. ft which is around two-thirds of a football pitch — will show every single match of the tournament from the kick-off game on Sunday, November 20th at 7 pm through to the final showdown on Sunday, December 18th.
