With a fashion makeover and a pink runway, Netflix celebrated its Dubai premiere of Season 3 of Emily in Paris. Fashionistas, special guests, press, and local celebrities gathered at Fountain Views, Downtown Dubai, to see the first and second episodes of the new season of everyone's favourite American girl in Paris.
Netflix, in collaboration with The Arab Fashion Council (AFC), spotlighted some of the Arab world's finest fashion labels, including Bazaza, Amato, Bil Arabi by Nadine Kanso, Lili Blanc, Ilyes Ouali, Slimi Studio, FLTRD and Marmar Halim.
Designers showcased looks inspired by Emily's enigmatic and bright personality. They curated their looks from ready-to-wear pieces, lavish jewellery and bold accessories to capture the elegant yet daring vibe of Emily's uber-chic wardrobe, infused with that distinct Dubai twist.
Looks were walked down the pink runway by influential members of Dubai's entertainment scene and scene, including Ameni Esseibi wearing Lili Blanc, Enjy Kiwan wearing Marmar Halim, and Nadine Kanso wearing Bazaza.
Following on from the pink runway event, Netflix unveiled 'Emily's Closet', giving guests a chance to see what the show's most fashionable character might wear if she were to visit Dubai. Some of the designers have populated the closet with their favourite pieces and accessories, taking inspiration from the lead character's style and blending it with details of the Arab region.
Season 3 of Emily in Paris stream's on Netflix on 21 December.
