The Holy Month of Ramadan is a special time to reflect, give back and connect with family, friends and the wider community. Iftar and Suhoor are opportune moments to build connections, and this year, the Ramadan in Dubai 2022 campaign from Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) features a wide range of authentic gastronomic experiences designed to bring people together.   

From exciting new tent experiences to must-try Iftar guides and the opportunity to donate meals to those less fortunate, Dubai's dining offers for Ramadan will have something for everyone to enjoy. 


Gastronomic Experiences this Ramdan 

The iconic food delivery, dining and discovery service, Zomato, has curated more than 100 dining experiences this Ramadan. The initiative will feature special Iftar menu offers from some of the most popular restaurants on Zomato, with three collections of Iftars across a wide range of dining and delivery options for every cuisine and price range.

The Must-Try Iftar collection features citywide favourites such as Allo Beirut, Gazebo, Swiss Butter and Al Amoor Express, while the Traditional Iftar collection offers outlets such as Bait Al Mandi, Nurai, SIKKA Cafe and Logma. The Day Dining During Fasting Hours collection is a tailored list of outlets for those not fasting, available on both its website and app, some of which are The Cheesecake Factory at Mall of the Emirates, Farzi Cafe at City Walk, Tesoro at Business Bay and ONI at Shangri-La, Trade Center. 

Go on a culinary journey with Frying Pan Adventures and take advantage of their insider knowledge to find unique Iftar experiences from around the world. 

Keep an eye on Dubai's largest food tour company's Instagram - @fryingpanadventures - for a snapshot of diverse Iftar cuisine from Palestine, Jordan, Morocco, Sri Lanka, Iran, Ethiopia and Uzbekistan. 


Iftar at the Time Out Market will be a special affair with picture opportunities at the traditional majlis pop-up at the entrance and popular artist, Mohamed Chamdin, entertaining the diners with iconic tracks with a traditional twist. The Ramadan edition of its Editors' Table will give guests the chance to enjoy a curated dinner hosted by Al Fanar restaurant. The experience will share the traditions, culture and purpose of Ramadan with guests while introducing authentic Emirati recipes that have been handed down through generations. 

Souk Al Marfa Tent has the ideal setting for families during Ramadan with a delicious Iftar, a beautiful waterfront view, a kids' play area with inflatables, stage shows, and over 35 kiosks selling Arabic merchandise. The tent is open daily from 6 pm to 2 am throughout Ramadan until 8 May. 

InterContinental Hotels at Dubai Festival City will feature a series of delightful experiences throughout Ramadan, specially curated by world-class chefs in four distinct venues: Karam Al Bahr, Zaytoun, Sirocco and lastly - Anise, coupled with the iconic IMAGINE show, an immersive laser, light, water multi-sensory extravaganza on Festival Bay. The hotel also boasts the Al Ras and Al Baraha ballrooms for corporate Iftar and suhoor experiences and an "Iftar at Home" service offering an exquisite traditional meal for up to 6 people. 


Celebrating the spirit of Ramadan, Hilton Jumeirah and Hilton The Walk are offering a unique blend of Arabic specialities and Ramadan favourites with different Iftar options for the family, whilst the Address Beach Resort is presenting a special menu curated to elevate the sharing experience with friends, family, and loved ones at Li'Brasil. 

Featuring a lavish spread of flavourful Middle Eastern fare and international delicacies as well as live cooking stations, Mezzerie at Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah is offering a food selection that suits everyone's taste. 

For a special Iftar with the kids, IMG World of Adventures is offering an Iftar for AED75 per person alongside fun children's activities, including the Arabian Nights show, magic carpet, face painting, magic show, and character meet and greets. 


Enjoy an experience based on ancient bedouin traditions, and a sumptuous iftar spread from sunset to 2:00 am at Oumsiat in Courtyard Meydan or go down to the majestic Al Majlis at Madinat Jumeirah for mouth-watering Iftar from sunset until 8:45 pm and Suhoor until 3 am. Al Hadheerah Desert Restaurant in Bab Al Shams boasts an Iftar spread from sunset until 10 am, with the finest cuisines coupled with soothing music and camel shows out under the starry night sky. Jumeirah Emirates Towers Majlis offers an opulent experience featuring Arabic hospitality, with stunning views of the city as you immerse yourself into a locally sourced and crafted Ramadan culinary spread. The iconic Asateer tent in Atlantis The Palm is bringing back the perfect Iftar and Suhoor experience with a wide array of themed buffets each evening, including Moroccan, Lebanese, Persian and Emirati food. 

Special Iftars will also take place at Dubai Opera, The New Moon Iftar at Le Gourmet in Galeries Lafayette, Nakheel Mall restaurants, and Iftar buffet at Intercontinental Dubai Marina and Dubai Festival City.
