GOVERNMENT ENTITIES BRING EDUTAINMENT TO MODESH WORLD

by Out and About Mag.

This summer, diverse edutainment workshops hosted by Government entities at Modesh World, located in Dubai World Trade Centre, have proven to be popular amongst families and parents who are keen to develop their children's skills and educate them about the various social services provided by these entities.

EDUTAINMENT

Last week, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) team took the opportunity to educate over 300 kids at Modesh World on the UAE passport, what it means and how it works, whilst Dubai characters, Modesh and Dana, welcomed the kids at 'passport control' and gave them the opportunity to create and colour their own special Modesh World passport. The workshop also included an augmented reality experience of the new smart gate system, which has launched at Dubai Airport.

The coming few weeks will bring additional workshops presented by Dubai Civil Defence, Dubai Health Authority, Dubai Police, Dubai Municipality, Community Development Authority, and Dubai Safari. These include:

  • Wednesday 3 August: Little Firefighter by Dubai Civil Defence from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm
  • Wednesday 10 August: Little Firefighter by Dubai Civil Defence from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm
  • Wednesday 17 August: Little Firefighter by Dubai Civil Defence from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm
  • Wednesday 24 August: Little Firefighter by Dubai Civil Defence from 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm
