Ras Al Khaimah rang in 2023 in style with impressive fireworks displays to musical rhythms, as it pushed to break two Guinness World Records titles.
The display featured pyro drones, nano lights, colours and shapes choreographed to electric beats. The #RAKNYE2023 celebrations broke world records with its innovative and impressive technology.
Covering a 4.7km stretch along the waterfront between Al Marjan Island and Al Hamra Village, visitors to and residents of Ras Al Khaimah rang in the New Year with a 12-minute pyro-musical fireworks display at an height of 1,100 metres. It featured 600 drones that broke the previous Guinness World Record of 458 drones.
