The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has announced that 78,793 people got a coronavirus vaccine over the last 24hrs, bringing to country's total to 1,020,349 jabs taken so far across the nation at 10.32 doses per 100 people.
This is in line with the UAE Government's plan to vaccinate more than 50 percent of the country's population against coronavirus (COVID-19) in the first quarter of 2021.
The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) along with health authorities concerned, also announced the launch of a national campaign to encourage people to get the coronavirus vaccine (COVID-19), especially the elderly, and people with chronic diseases.
